B i o
Mychael Pollard, a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts, is a multifaceted musician known for his exceptional skills as a Music Director, Singer, Songwriter, Pianist, Keyboardist, Producer, Arranger, and Composer.
With a background in Funk, Progressive Rock and Jazz Fusion, he has a deep understanding of various popular music genres. Over the course of his 30+ years in the music industry, Pollard has created music for numerous jingles, commercials, short films, and documentaries.
Pollard has toured with bands all over the US & Europe. He is currently the keyboardist for the Grammy nominated 80’s & 90’s band, The Jets & with Grammy Nominated DJ/Record Producer, Chris Cox (Thunderpuss)
One of many highlights with Chris Cox is that Mychael played Keyboards & Bass on the RCA Records release of Whitney Houston ‘Don’t Cry For Me’ Thunderpuss Reunion Remix.
Pollard’s music often draws comparisons to Jazz Fusion artists like Weather Report, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Return To Forever, as well as Prog Rock artists such as Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Yes, Genesis, and Funk artists like Parliament Funkadelic. His music has a unique ability to transport listeners into a world of musical exploration, evoking emotions and spiritual connections.
